Children's Information

  • Children access the app using a simple PIN (no email or personal information required)
  • We only collect first names and profile pictures (optional) for children
  • We do not collect, use, or disclose personal information from children without verifiable parental consent
  • Parents have full control over their children's profiles and data

Usage Information

To improve our service, we collect:

  • Quest completion data (to track progress and streaks)
  • App usage statistics (features used, time spent)
  • Device information (device type, operating system, app version)
  • Calendar events, meal plans, and grocery lists (stored securely and only accessible to your family)

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Famlify app and its features
  • Process Dad Bucks transactions and rewards
  • Send important account notifications (password resets, billing updates)
  • Improve app functionality and develop new features
  • Provide customer support

We do NOT:

  • Show advertisements in our app

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently delete all personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal or regulatory purposes.

Famlify is designed for families with children. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

  • We require verifiable parental consent before collecting any information from children under 13
  • Parents can review, delete, or refuse further collection of their child's information at any time
  • We do not condition a child's participation on disclosure of more information than is necessary
  • Children cannot create accounts independently—only parents can add child profiles

International Users

Famlify is operated from the United States. If you are located outside the U.S., please be aware that information we collect will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using Famlify, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by email or through the app. Your continued use of Famlify after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
